Due to retirement, we have a position for a Kaiako Kaiārahi at Te Pārekereke o Te Kī, one of five early childhood centres that make up the Otago University Childcare Association. Te Pārekereke o Te Kī was an initiative founded by Kāi Tahu and supported by the OUCA as a place where Te Reo me ōna Tikaka Māori drives the curriculum and is strengthened within a bilingual whānau setting. Centre whānau choose Te Pārekereke o Te Kī as a place that supports their whole whānau commitment to te reo and tikanga Māori. We have about 30 children attending the centre daily and provide ratios of 1:4 for pēpi and 1:8 for nohinohi. We have a solid wait list of whānau.
The Kaiako Kaiārahi is responsible for leading the team of 7 qualified kaiako. They implement the philosophy and nurture relationships with children, whānau and the community. The Kaiako Kaiārahi is supported by the OUCA Manager, Administrator and Head Teachers of the four other centres.
We are looking for a Kaiako Kaiārahi who:
Has a good level of fluency in and is passionate about te reo me ōna tikanga Māori
Has leadership experience
Has a professional commitment to the provision of high-quality early childhood education
Is an early childhood qualified and registered teacher (or is prepared to complete the training).
We provide full pay parity (head teacher rate - $101,120) and 10+ hours a week of non-contact. The OUCA is part of the ECE Collective Agreement.

Sharemilking Systems - A strong understanding of the different sharemilking systems, with an affinity for these roles and ability to manage these relationships including the contractual requirements.
Strong pasture, milk production, animal health, environmental compliance, agronomy and irrigation understanding to enable you to support and mentor the team to drive positive outcomes in all these area's
Expertise in asset management across diverse farming infrastructure.
Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Te Pārekereke o Te Kī is a bilingual, mixed-age centre that is a part of the Otago University Childcare Association. It has a maximum of about 32 tamariki, 8 of which are pēpi. The centre has committed and passionate whānau who choose to have their tamariki in a bilingual, kaupapa Māori learning environment.
We provide full pay parity and extensive professional learning opportunities. We are funded for 100% qualified registered kaiako, so you would be working with a highly professional team. This is your chance to be part of the Dart River Adventures maintenance team - We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work. You will be based in our workshop located in Glenorchy.
At Dart River Adventures every day is different, bringing unique challenges within our dynamic maintenance environment. Day-to-day you could find yourself diagnosing, servicing, and building our boats while ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. We operate a fleet of eight, twin engine jet boats, a range of light vehicles, commercial vehicles, plant and equipment.
The braided Dart River (or Te Awa Whakatipu) flows for 60km from the Southern Alps and the Dart Glacier in the heart of Mount Aspiring National Park, until it reaches the northern tip of Lake Whakatipu near Glenorchy. Towered by mountain ranges on either side, the Dart River Valley offers stunning panoramic views at every turn.
We're after someone who has:
Mechanical, Engineering Trade Certificate or relevant trade-based qualification
Ability to carry out diagnostics of marine combustion engines, vehicles, and other plant onsite
Can demonstrate a high level of workmanship with the ability to read and interpret drawings and service manuals
Positive attitude toward systems, documentation, and process requirements
Knowledge of asset management software packages (would be advantageous)
General engineering skills, ability to use and operate Lathe, Mill, MIG, TIG welders with experience working with Aluminum and Stainless-Steel materials (would be advantageous)
Commitment to maintaining high standards of Health and Safety in the workplace
Availability to work weekends and public holidays to meet operational requirements
